– our materials are now food-safe and WRAS certified

At Cipax, quality and safety are always our top priorities. For this reason, we've tested two of the polyethylene materials that we use in many of our tanks – and both have now been approved according to EU standard EN 1935/2004 as well as being certified according to Normpack.

This means that the materials are safe for contact with food and meet all requirements for use in the storage and transport of water, milk and juice, for example.

Clear markings – easy identification

All of our food-grade products will be marked with the glass and fork symbol on the label and clearly stated as food-safe on our website. Every product also has a declaration of conformity (DoC) that can be downloaded instantly.

Also approved for drinking water

As an extra step in our quality work, we've also certified these materials according to WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme). It confirms that they meet the British requirements for materials in contact with drinking water – clear proof of our high standards.
