We are making the change to use recycled materials in more of our CPX products

Cipax is taking the next step towards a more circular use of plastics! After introducing recycled material in several underground infrastructure accessories in 2023, we are now moving forward with the first underground tanks. First up is:

•    CPX Septic tank 2200L
•    CPX Coarse tank 2200L
•    CPX Closed tank 3000L

35% lower carbon footprint

The material change will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 35% for these products. Since our production process is already energy efficient and transportation emissions are low, the raw material will have the biggest climate impact – making this change a significant improvement.
 

Expanding Our Range of CPX Products

The CPX standard range of containers and tanks for industrial applications is growing, now including a complete series of silos with stands. These new products are manufactured by Danish company DRP, which became part of the same corporate group in 2024.

DRP complements Cipax’s operations by providing additional production capacity and access to new markets.

Plastic is best from a life cycle and environmental perspective!

Ramboll have conducted an independent life cycle analysis reviewed by WSP where our products environmental impact from raw material to waste has been evaluated.

Products made of polyethylene, stainless steel and fiberglass were compared.

The result clearly showed that plastic (Polyethylene) has lowest effect on the climate and is the best alternative from a total environmental perspective.
