CPX Protective mantle

A patented solution

To facilitate the storage of liquids at high temperatures or of high density, we have developed a protective mantle that can be used as an addition to all of our cylindrical closed containers and storage tanks. The mantle, which is only 2mm thick and consists of PVC plastic with a polyester reinforcement, is mounted around the sides of the tank and thus prevents the walls from bulging outwards, which is often the case at high density or high temperatures.

Protective mantle adapted for each tank

The protective mantle is tailored to each specific tank, to achieve the desired effect. If the tank has connections, holes are made in the protective mantle for these and there is no limit to the number of penetrations. The tank is delivered with the mantle pre-assembled but it can be easily removed if desired.

Recommendation to block off or use bunding at temperatures >50°C regardless of contents to minimise the risk of personal injury.
